At-A-Glance

Yankee Sweep Smart Allocation (YSSA) is a product offered by IntraFi that allows US banks to offer their customers the opportunity to earn potentially above-market interest rates with daily liquidity by placing their money at one or more uninsured US-domiciled branches of foreign banks.

The Problem

The allocation process is currently manual and involves ensuring that many rules are adhered to when placing and moving deposits. As such, the process is at risk of becoming unmanageable at the projected scale of deposits flowing through the program unless automation is built to support it.

For this project, I served as the lead designer, collaborating with the business analysts, product managers, developers to deliver an intuitive deposit allocation system that could be used by a deposit manager.
